Soda Firing Workshop  - Ages 16+

This class is a throwing based course that culminates in soda firing at the KSU ceramics studio. Each student will spend 3 days throwing, trimming, and refining their forms (at MAC), followed by 2 days loading and firing the kiln (at KSU), and finally 1 last day unloading and cleaning up their work. We will explore the effects of the firing process and how it impacts the forms we make. Students must have taken at least 1 prior throwing course at MAC or KSU. Due to the nature of this firing process, class times at the end of the session may not be precise.
