|Monotype Printing with Stencils||14+||Mary Gordon McFall||Tuesdays||Sept 12 - Oct 24||6:00 - 8:00 pm||$160||Monotype/monoprint is a printmaking process in which the ink is rolled onto a slab, manipulated in some way, then transferred to paper using the pressure of a press, or baren to create unique, one-off prints. Monoprinting with stencils can allow for interesting textures, colors and residual effects! Demonstrations will include various inking methods, layering, collage, and how to safely & successfully print using the press. Most of class time will be set aside for play and experimentation.
