Often described as folk music's "renaissance man - master instrumentalist, powerful singer-songwriter, storyteller, activist and author," John McCutcheon showcases his musical virtuosity for the Birdhouse performance season. McCutcheon is considered a master of a dozen traditional instruments, including the hammer dulcimer, and is widely regarded as a staple of traditional American folk music since the 1970's.
