For high school and middle school voice students who can read music. (Students must have completed 5th grade to participate.)

  • Program runs Jun 6-17 with final performance TBA.
  • FHVA includes:
    • Private lessons
    • Group lessons
    • Musical theatre workshop sessions
    • Masterclasses
    • Final performance 
  • Students will learn one vocal solo that is competition appropriate and musical ensemble pieces.
  • Students will be given practice time during the program, but are also expected to practice outside of the meeting days.
  • Music is provided.
  • This is a camp for middle and high school students. Students should have completed 5th grade in the 2021-22 school year.  

The general schedule will be:

  • Jun 5 kick-off from 4:00-5:00 at KSU..
  • Lesson lengths range 40-60 minutes.
  • Lessons, group lessons, group rehearsals, electives, and practice time will be scheduled as we get closer to the start.
  • There will be a video recording one day of each singer singing their solo that will be reviewed by the instructor and student for learning purposes.  
  • Students should bring a water bottle and a healthy snack. We do not provide food.
