Foraging - Curated by Kelly Yarbrough

No matter the medium, style or time period in which she works, an artist is always engaged in a practice of observing, collecting and processing inspiration in one form or another. Foraging is a group exhibit curated by Kelly Yarbrough and features the work of seven out-of-state women artists whose work she finds inspirational in conversation with her own work.

Artists included in the exhibit are:

Nora Othic - Brookfield, MO
Hannah Demma - Lincoln, NE
Cedra Wood - Roswell, NM
Hannah O'Hare Bennett - Madison, WI
Shar Coulson - Chicago, IL
Debra Claffey - New Boston, NH
Amy Reckley - Grand Rapids, MI
Kelly Yarbrough - Manhattan, KS

Layers: Paint and Paper by Greta Baack

Greta Baack's mixed media artwork is inspired by her interactions with her materials as well as her observations of the natural world. Baack uses a plywood board as her base and adds paint, paper and found objects. Adding and removing layers to find the conversation happening in each piece.
