2026 Annual Art Contest Winner Announced

Unravel invites artists to explore what it means to come undone, to discover, to release, and to transform.  Each piece reflects a personal interpretation - whether emotional, physical, or conceptual - of what it means to unravel.  Together, these works create a collection story of vulnerability, process, & renewal.
Congratulations to artist Shawn Delker for being chosen for our 2026 artist award.

From the artist
In a world where the fabric of society seems to be fraying at the
edges, my
artwork, Euler Untethered captures the
essence of my deep-seated
concerns.
The image of a purple ball coming apart and the floating green

stems symbolizes the unraveling of our collective unity and the
fragility of
our current state of division.
Through this piece, I aim to evoke a sense of
urgency and reflection,
in a whimsical and yet thoughtful way urging
viewers
to contemplate the threads that hold us together and the

consequences of letting them slip away.

Shawn's exhibition and pieces from other contest entrants will be on display at Manhattan Arts Center through April 24.

  • The Little Mermaid Jr.

    July 11 - 13, 2026

In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she's the girl whose enchanting voice he's been seeking.

  • Godspell

    July 24 - 26, 2026

A small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and hefty doses of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.
