Open Studio's Guidelines:

Open studios are not classes, and there will not be someone available to teach during it. Hosts and other members are usually happy to answer questions people may have. If you want to bring a large group, reach out to Addie and/or Kai so we can let the studio host know beforehand. Be respectful of the space and other people’s work.

The clay open studios are intended for anyone who has ceramic experience, through a class with the MAC or another organization. There is no instruction provided, however the community is often willing to help get you started. The $10 fee covers all firings, glaze, and tools, however clay must be purchased at $30 per bag or $8 per log of reclaim. No outside clay or glazes are allowed without prior approval by the Studio Manager. Please be respectful of the space and other participants, leaving a mess and not cleaning up impacts other's ability to make their work. Children under the age of 13 may attend free of charge with a parent's attendance and supervision. You may sign up and prepay below, but are also able to simply walk-in.
