When the doors open at 6:30 pm, you can sign up to tell a 5–8-minute story based on the theme! When the event starts, and one by one, storytellers, poets, musicians take the stage.
Come sign up to tell a story, or just enjoy the show!
How to tell your story at a StorySlam:
- Find out the theme of the night.
- Craft your story, poem, musical share!
- Practice so you can remember it, but also feel free to use some notes at first. Then practice it so you can keep it down to 5-8 minutes. Revise. Rework. Revamp. Finesse. Try again. Keep going. The goal is to improve – not for perfection.
Stay tuned for future StorySlam events! A different theme each time.
